2D ART - Work from 2020 to present day!
These are my idea sketches, sketches, and lineart for an attack I drew for a friend during Artfight* 2025.
I am exremely proud of how this turned out, I put a lot of effort into deliberating over what would make sense for the character to have in his environment. I made sure to put intentional details like the butterfly stickers on his dresser due to his background and family, amongst other things. Most, if not all, of the details and objects in the background of the drawing have a purpose and meaning.

*Artfight is an annual art gifting game that is hosted throughout the month of July, where players "attack" the opposing team by drawing their original characters. Find out more here.
This is the artwork I created for my work-in-progress (likely forever) game "Arms of Stardust", which I developed partially throughout my first year of college. The idea had actually been with me since my last few years of highschool, so the characters have undergone a fair amount of development over time.
A lot of the development was done during late 2024, early 2025. I hope to pick this project up again some day.

Some more Artfight 2025 pieces, varying in effort and style. For most of them, I did a pencil sketch first which was then photographed and drawn ontop of using the computer. A lot of these pieces were a struggle for me, especially in posing the characters. However, I like to think I've improved since then.
I would say, out of all of these attacks I did, my favourite is the one of the character "Diony" in which he is strung up like a puppet on a stage. I was pushed to rework how I approach rendering light sources in my 2D pieces and used more of the tools available to me, like the blending modes for layers.

These are the reference sheets/drawings of most of my OCs (original characters), those being completely original to fiction I create myself or characters to insert alongside pre-existing media.
From left to right, the characters featured are: Ruth Lalonde, Sodalite, Beanbag (my Pokemon trainer self-insert), Blythe, Ettore Rossii, Mouse, Nicola, The Stranger and Luca (as well as my friend's character, Sage.)
They're from a whole host of different media, including Outer Wilds, Homestuck, Dungeons & Dragons and Pokemon. I've been developing some of these characters, such as Blythe and Mouse, since late 2021.
